Korean pop group BTS has recently partnered with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) in order to encourage youth to #ENDviolence whether it be physical or mental! The “Love Myself” campaign is being promoted around the world to stop bullying and other forms of violence. However, this particular campaign to spread the “true meaning of love” didn’t just begin yesterday or even a few weeks ago.

The “Love Myself” website says that back in October 2017, teaser blimps with messages of what or who each BTS member loved were flown over each member’s hometown. In November of the same year, the campaign was officially launched with BTS and their label Big Hit Entertainment donating over $400,000 to UNICEF!

Since then, BTS’ legion of global fans called ARMY have been sharing their love for and with each other by posting images and videos on social media under the hastag #BTSLoveMyself! The band is now featured in a brand new UNICEF advertisement video aimed at young people who may be dealing with various kinds of violence including bullying. The group says that this campaign is meant to encourage all people to help stop violence on every level through sharing love and kindness. Watch the powerful video below!
