A Woman of Worth: Viola Davis is the New Face of L’Oreal Paris!

Viola Davis for L’Oreal Paris

Not only is Viola Davis a force to be reckoned with when it comes to acting, now she has been tapped as beauty brand L’Oreal Paris’ latest international spokeswoman! The global brand made the announcement this past week on their official Twitter account and website. The announcement arrives just a little over 2 weeks before the premiere of ABC’s “How To Get Away With Murder” where Davis has portrayed the role of Annalise Keating, a confident yet troubled defense attorney.

Davis is understandably honored and excited to join the team over at L’Oreal. In a post shared on her Twitter account, the Tony, Emmy, and Oscar-winning actress said that “the self affirming words of ‘Because I’m worth it’ have always given me chill bumps” and that she feels it will be “a joy” to continually share them with women around the globe.

L’Oreal is also thrilled at the announcement! In their official introductory post on their website, they remind the public that their selection of the 54-year-old keeps with their goal of selecting those individuals that “reflect the diversity of the modern world and encourage beauty inclusivity, self-worth, and empowerment—things Viola knows all about.” The brand says that Davis will be featured as part of their “Age Perfect” line and will appear in various ads as part of their digital advertising campaigns that will begin later this month.

We at AccordingtoLariah.com want to congratulate Davis on this amazing opportunity to uplift and encourage all women to feel worthy! Also, make sure you tune in to ABC at 10 PM Eastern/9 Central to watch Davis and fellow L’Oreal spokeswoman Aja Naomi King in the beginning of the end of final season of “How to Get Away With Murder!”
