“Please Please Please” by Sabrina Carpenter: Oh my gosh is this about Barry Keoghan?! He’s in the music video so I’d guess so but anyway!!! The song gives country princess vibes. I personally don’t care for country music, but she still slayed!!!! 7/10
“Talk” by Charli XCX (from her new album “BRAT” out now!): I.. do not like this song at all!!! This sounds actually pretty bad in my opinion!! I won’t listen to the album, just because I do like her music but not that much of it to listen to the entire album, but I’d guess/hope the album is better than this song!!! 0/10
“Genesis.” by RAYE: I KNOW SHE’S GONNA EAT THIS UP LIVE! She’s got some great melodies but her lyrics are incredibly deep/sad behind that “Escapism.”-type melody. This gives “Euphoria” soundtrack to me honestly. WAIT!
OH MY GOSH WE SWITCHED UP! IT’S GIVING JAZZ/AMY WINEHOUSE TYPE VIBES WHAT IS HAPPENING!?? OH MY GOSH!???? 70’S VIBES!???! HUHHHHHHHHH!??? GOSPEL VIBE????? WHAT IS HAPPENING OH MY GOSH?!
Okay so I’ve figured out the “parts:” they are actually divided from the actual song! The song in its entirety is 6 minutes: the retro Gospel type vibe is part three, the “Euphoria” type vibe being part two, and the first part of the song being part one? That’s interesting tbh!!! Anyway, all of it ate. She’s super talented! Her Coachella performance was also amazing so I’m not shocked she ate! 10/10, all of it!
“Never Let Go” by Jung Kook: Ain’t this man supposed to be in the military???? Huh???? (After some further research y’all, he’s BEEN in the military since December, oops!) Anyway, not to offend the armies that might be reading this, but this song has gotta be his worst I’ve heard. It’s giving dollar store music. Not even CLOSE to Sephora. Just dollar store. 0/10
“Less Of You” by Omar Apollo: This one’s synth pop and depression about his ex. It’s giving creative sadness now and is honestly a difference from “Evergreen,” so slay! 4/10
“MPH” by Doechii: This one seems like race car game music. Honestly, that’s all I got!! It sounds like something you’d hear in the background of some random race car game, which ain’t bad, ’cause they have some bangers sometimes!! But it’s alright! 6/10
