Starting off with JT’s new album, “City Cinderella” out now on all platforms!!!
“Brick Talk:” It’s ight. I’m not really dancing and I doubt it’ll be stuck in my head later, but it’s not bad! 4/10
“Oh” (featuring DJ Khaled): This is okay! It’s a lot more catchy than the last song. 5/10
“Servin:” Okay, she actually sounds way better. She SERVEDDD and the beat is fire!!!! 8/10
“DOD:” This is ight. sound like it would be trending on TikTok soon. 6/10
“Lemon Pepper” (featuring Stunna Girl): I honestly thought I’d like this, but I don’t and I can’t figure out why! It’s not like something I’d add to my playlist or anything, but it’s….okay! 3/10
“Swang:” OKAYYY I LIKE ITTTT! LET HER COOKKKKKKKK THIS ATE! 10/10
“90’s Baby:” Not my style, not my vibe so it’s a nah for me. 3/10
“Uncle Al:” OKAY, SHE ACTUALLY KIND OF POPPED OFF!! SHE ATEEEEEE….SLAY! 9/10
“Sideways:” This is catchy but I wouldn’t add it to any playlist. But I wouldn’t skip it if it came on the radio or anything! 5/10
“OKAY:” This has been out for a while already, so you can check out my previous rating on it below. It’s grown on me a little since then, so I’m gonna give it an updated rating of 10/10!
“JT Coming:” The beat is fun but this sounds like something that would play in a Tubi movie. It’s like if somebody’s friend makes music and they told them, “Hey, I’ll put your music in my film!!!!!” Take that how you want! 3/10
“All Stars” (featuring CLIP): Waitttttt! I’M KINDA VIBINGGGGGGGG! I WOULD PLAY THIS IN THE CAR AT NIGHTTTT! IT KIND OF GIVES SOUNDCLOUD VIBES, BUT I LOVE THAT!!!! Ate! 10/10
“Red Flowers:” She’s actually eating this up and I like it tbh!!! 9/10
“Star of the Show:” YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS 25/10! SHE ATE THIS UP SO HARD! MY FAV ON THE ALBUM….DEVOURED. ATE, YES. PERFECT ENDING TO THIS ALBUM (The “OKAY” remix is actually the end, but still!) THIS WAS AMAZINGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!
“OKAY (Remix)” (featuring Jeezy): Heard it. Already ate! 10/10
My summary of the album: The first few songs were a little rough, BUTTTTTTT…IT GOT WAY BETTER TOWARDS THE END!! My favorite song (if it isn’t obvious) was “Star of the Show!” She ate with that…devoured even. Honestly, focusing on the good parts of the album, I’d rate it a solid 9/10! She had some good enough songs to up that rating REAL QUICK! She ate!!!
Next up, it’s time for the admittedly very few other songs released this week!!!
“Who” by Jimin (from his new album “MUSE” out now!!!): I just realized I don’t exactly care for his voice. He’s slaying but I just don’t really like it too much and that’s okay! I still say you should go listen to it yourself though!! 2/10
“Dead Man” by Alessia Cara: Honestly, this kind of eats!!!!! I wouldn’t add it to my playlist (or at least not right now), but it sounds good nevertheless. 7/10
“In The Night” by Childish Gambino (feat. Jorja Smith & Amaarae): This is definitely a song….definitely, DEFINITELY a song! 3/10
Alright y’all, this week has come to an end!!!!! You’re probably waiting right now for my rating, so I’m gonna rate it a…. 7.5/10!!!!! JT’s album carried this score, but I did actually include all of the ratings in this (somewhat), which means it was a bit lower!!!! However, this week was pretty good overall!
